Description:


This package contains a shader and custom materials for the highest AAA quality sky in URP. The sky and clouds are volumetric, meaning they are physically accurate and you can go through clouds and out into space if you need. This asset is also highly optimised, barely making a dent in the FPS of your game. The sky and clouds also use physically based light scattering to create the best looking sky available.


Setup:


Enable Opaque and Depth texture on URP asset. 

Add 2 “CloudSky” renderer features to your forward renderer asset.

Add “Clouds” material to settings of bottom one, add “Sky Volume” material to top.

Delete all directional lights from your scene.

Drag “DayNightPrefab” into your scene – remove “Sun_Rotator” script if you don’t want a day/night cycle.

Navigate to lighting panel and set skybox material to “Starry Sky”.
