This asset requires Game4Automation Starter or Game4Automation Professional as a prerequisite. Please always use the latest versions of Starter or Professional in combination with this library.


This library can be used for simulation and virtual commissioning in combination with Game4Automation Starter (with Siemens S7 interface) or Game4Automation Professional (with additional OPCUA, TwinCAT, Modbus and Simit interfaces).


Game4Automation Simulation contains components for physics-based simulation of material flow based on conveyors and path-based simulation such as for AGV or Power and Free systems. Both systems can be combined in one model. All components have snap points for fast modeling.


Game4Automation contains the following components

– Straight belt conveyor

– Straight roller conveyor

– Curved belt conveyor

– Curved roller conveyor

– Chain transfer for discharging goods

– Guide rollers for change of direction

– Sensor – light barrier

– Aligner

– Source for the generation of different goods according to probability criteria

– Exemplary PLC codes for controlling the material flow

– Straight line (path)

– Curve (path)

– Work station

– Loading station

– Unloading station

– AGV’s “PathMover” for moving objects on paths

– Example scenes with a large sorting system and different use cases of path-based simulations

All components are parametric and can be customized via the inspector in many properties such as length, height, width, feet, roll distance and so on. The components can be combined and easily joined together with snap points. The components include Game4Automation Drives with Drive behavior models and can be connected directly to PLCs using the Game4Automation Starter or Professional PLC Interfaces. You can use the included components as a blueprint for developing your own components and for extending the library. All source codes are open and accessible.
